Currently under construction, AIA’s CMC office tower was designed in response to the client’s brief for aGrade ‘A’ Iconic Landmark Office Tower which was both elegant in appearance and efficient in layout. These requirements were combined with the client’s commitment to sustainability by targeting LEED Gold accreditation.

Aesthetically, the concept is based on two interlocking masses which is accentuated through the use of two subtly different colour tones. This serves as an understated background to vertical accent bars configured in a randomized pattern and incorporating lighting which provides a sense of vibrancy and movement forming the building’s signature.

A refined structural design facilitates an open floor plate with no column interference maximizing flexibility for tenancy layouts whilst retaining regular modularity to ensure construction efficiency.

The retail zone is conceived as a transparent cubic mass showcasing an interior finished in pure white and featuring an atrium. This not only showcases the products on sale, but highlights all activities and interactions internally, emphasizing the dynamics and movement within the space.
